Five jobs, five different tools
Finding a role, saving it, writing the documents, filling the form and tracking what happened are separate tasks. Most AI job search tools are great at one or two of them. Decide which step eats your evenings, then shop for that.
The best AI job search tools, by task
Teal pairs a resume builder with a job tracker. Huntr offers tracking, tailored documents and a browser extension. Both suit people juggling many applications at once.
Simplify Copilot documents application autofill and tracking, the closest thing here to a job application autofill specialist.
Twoweeks, our product, focuses on the writing: it turns an offer and your CV into a tailored resume and cover letter. Its job application Chrome extension saves supported offers with their source link and can draft a first letter on some pages.

Job application autofill: check where it stops
Autofill saves real time on long forms. Just know where it ends. Simplify’s own documentation describes a setting that can carry a multipage flow through to submission. Turn that off for applications you care about, and answer questions on work authorization, salary or availability yourself. A plausible guess is still a wrong answer.

An AI job search assistant should keep your story straight
A good AI job search assistant remembers what you saved, what you drafted and what you actually sent. Try this: save a role, prepare one document, close the tab. Come back tomorrow. If you can find the offer, the resume you used and your next step in under a minute, the tool is doing its job.
And only mark a role “applied” once you have actually applied. A generated file is not a sent application.
Fair questions
Do I need a Chrome extension?
Not always. You can paste offers into most web apps. An extension is a convenience for saving roles as you browse, so check its permissions before installing.
Can I write a Twoweeks letter inside ChatGPT?
Not yet. That connection is in preparation. For now, you write your letters in Twoweeks itself.
